On Friday, 30 January 2026, the event \u201cFree Mammography and Ultrasound Screening\u201d, promoted by WelfareCare Societ\u00e0 Benefit, took place at the \u201cCarlo Alberto Dalla Chiesa\u201d Community Center in Salgareda (TV), Italy. Skema participated as a partner in the initiative, offering its female employees (as well as partners or wives of employees) access to a complete and free breast screening, including a medical report.
This participation is part of a corporate welfare strategy focused on health protection, primary prevention, and access to services that often remain beyond people\u2019s everyday reach. The initiative reflects Skema\u2019s commitment to translating the principles of social responsibility into measurable actions consistent with its ESG objectives. <\/p>\n

Including free oncological screening within corporate welfare directly addresses three key pillars: prevention, accessibility, and health protection.
Breast cancer prevention, in particular, is a public health priority and an area in which companies can play an active role in closing access gaps, especially for population groups not yet covered by National Health Service screening protocols. This approach aligns with social reporting principles, which require transparency, traceability, and consistency between stated commitments and operational practices.
Moreover, by acting on awareness and prevention, the company helps strengthen a culture of well-being, reducing potential negative health, economic, and organizational impacts linked to late diagnoses or lack of information. The collaboration with WelfareCare, a certified Benefit Corporation, further reinforces the Governance dimension: partner selection becomes a distinctive criterion, oriented toward shared values and verifiable operating models.<\/p>\n
The screening took place in a fully equipped mobile clinic located in the center of the municipality of Salgareda (TV),Italia, \u00a0just a few kilometers from Skema\u2019s headquarters. Each participant underwent both mammography and ultrasound examinations, with the medical report delivered at the end of the procedure.
Access was reserved for women aged between 35 and 49 who had not undergone similar examinations in the previous twelve months and who were not already enrolled in equivalent public or private screening programs. Skema made this opportunity available as an integral part of its welfare plan, communicating it through internal channels and providing organizational support to facilitate participation.<\/p>\n
