SPC Connex in the children’s clothing shop

For the new Happy Days children’s clothing shop in Rimini’s ‘Le Befane’ shopping centre, the Archilab design studio chose Connex flooring in the Rovere Crudo decor.

Connex the super thin SPC with reinforced surface

This performance SPC is characterised by its low thickness of only 4.5 mm and its VLS joint, which makes it ideal for vertical installation.

Connex, like all Skema SPCs, has an extruded vinyl panel, an integrated acoustic panel and a pre-coupled underlay. The 0.55 mm transparent vinyl layer is reinforced with PU which allows it to be used in high traffic commercial environments (class 33) and makes it easy to clean. Connex is a practical and sustainable surface, has environmental certification A+ for VOC emissions, fire resistance class Bfl-s1 and is silent thanks to the already integrated IXPE acoustic underlay and its laboratory-tested footstep noise reduction capacity, with abatement levels achieved of less than 18 decibels.
A high-performance floor, designed to bring the wood effect plank to all public spaces with high footfall.

The Happy Days project in Rimini

The developer of the new Happy Days shop is the Archilab studio, which developed a bright and welcoming environment with a distinctive design that puts practicality for children and their families first. The use of pastel colours, wood flooring and alabaster-effect stoneware wall tiles helped to create a bright, warm and inviting environment.

The Connex wood-effect flooring adds warmth and a natural touch to the ambience and, with its light tone, keeps the room bright and spacious. The shop’s palette is complemented by the light colours of the alabaster and a specially designed and developed wallpaper with three-dimensional soap bubbles, which lends a playful tone to the ambience.
