From the novelty of its collections to the strength of its team, Skema once again establishes itself as a benchmark for warm surfaces.

Five intense days, a continuous flow of Italian and international visitors, professionals arriving from all over Europe and beyond: Skema’s presence at Cersaie 2025 became a true point of reference for architects, designers and contractors in search of innovative and coordinated solutions.

The stand, conceived not as a temporary installation but as a system that can also be replicated in showrooms and retail spaces, managed to attract a diverse audience, intrigued by its clarity of presentation, new product launches, and the chance to experience firsthand the Skema floor–wall–ceiling method. The new Villa oak collection and the Mikro panels represented the two most acclaimed poles of innovation, giving tangible form to a vision of space that unites aesthetics, comfort, and functionality.

Success was also, and above all, a team success. This is strongly underlined by Nicola De Menis, CEO and Chairman of Skema: “What makes the difference is the team, the energy my collaborators bring to the field. At Cersaie we had the opportunity to show not only our products, but above all our ability to connect and listen. I believe Skema’s true commercial strength does not lie solely in quality, which after 33 years is well established, but in kindness, in the way we welcome people, in putting people at the centre of the project. This is what makes our approach unique.”
A trade fair historically linked to ceramics, Cersaie confirmed its openness to a wider range of materials and systems, capable of including warm surfaces. As Commercial Director Daniele Ferraiuolo observes: “Cersaie is no longer just the fair of stoneware and ceramics, but an international stage that speaks to those who imagine and design spaces in their entirety. For Skema it represents a unique opportunity to present floors, walls and ceilings as an integrated system, while also meeting clients and potential partners from diverse markets. This year we noticed particular attention to our ability to provide warm and acoustically efficient surfaces: a message that, thanks to this showcase, reached a wide and receptive audience.”

The international dimension was indeed central. Export Manager Paolo Zulian explains: “We welcomed numerous visitors from France, Spain, Portugal and many other countries. They did not limit themselves to appreciating our products, but also recognised the value of the services Skema provides, from technical support to project consultancy. This blend of material quality and organisational solidity allows us to present ourselves abroad as reliable partners, capable of offering continuity and concrete solutions.”
At the heart of the experience was the stand itself, conceived as both exhibition and relational platform. Art Director Paolo Pampanoni comments: “The stand is not a self-congratulatory gesture, but a snapshot of Skema’s identity. We wanted to create a clear and accessible space, capable of combining the display of collections with the opportunity to engage directly with visitors. The installation was not designed as a formal exercise, but as a dynamic tool to narrate the company and foster exchange. Every surface, every detail was carefully studied to transform the product into an experience, allowing guests to come into immediate contact with our reality.”
Completing the picture, Chief Strategy Officer Sonia Venaruzzo broadens the perspective: “Participating in Cersaie means not only presenting our surfaces to an international audience, but also reaffirming our role in anticipating living and design trends. The fair allowed us to show how our collections interpret the needs of contemporary life while reaffirming our commitment to sustainability. Yet the greatest value remains the encounter: the stand was a crossroads of relationships, where each conversation added a piece to a journey that will continue beyond the fair.”

The conclusion of Cersaie 2025 therefore confirms Skema as an international benchmark for warm and coordinated surfaces: a space for dialogue, an open laboratory that has managed to integrate innovation and relationships, consolidating a path that has placed lived-in surfaces at the centre for over thirty years.
